these terms govern your use of pair pressure ("the app"). by using pair pressure, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use the app.

pair pressure is a habit-tracking app that lets you build habits on your own or with a buddy. you can create habits, check in daily, build streaks, and invite friends to keep you accountable.

• you need an account to use pair pressure. you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• you must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• the information you provide must be accurate. don't impersonate others.

you own the content you create in pair pressure (habit names, check-in photos, text notes). by using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content as needed to provide the service — for example, showing your check-in status to your buddy.

don't upload content that is:

• illegal or promotes illegal activity.
• harassment, hate speech, or threats.
• sexually explicit or exploitative.
• spam or malware.

we reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

when you invite someone as a buddy, they can see your check-in activity, streaks, and any encouragement you exchange. you can leave a buddy pairing at any time.

be kind to your buddies. pair pressure is about support, not judgment. accounts that harass other users may be suspended or terminated.

pair pressure may send you push notifications for reminders, buddy activity, and streaks. you can opt out at any time through your device settings or the app's notification preferences.

we strive to keep pair pressure running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. we may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. we'll try to give notice for significant changes.

you can stop using pair pressure and delete your account at any time. we may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

pair pressure is provided "as is." we do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we can't guarantee specific results from using the app. to the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

we may update these terms from time to time. we'll notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
